Depart Calgary in the morning and drive into the Canadian Rockies. Explore Banff town, ride the Banff Gondola, visit Bow Falls, and enjoy Lake Minnewanka. Overnight in Canmore.

Morning departure from Canmore. Cross the border at Carway into the United States and arrive in the St. Mary / East Glacier area of Glacier National Park. Overnight near the park.

Good to know
- US border crossing: please bring a valid passport and any required US entry documents.
- Glacier National Park: commercial tour vehicles are not permitted on the alpine section of Going-to-the-Sun Road (Lake McDonald Lodge – Rising Sun), so we visit St. Mary Lake and Lake McDonald from each side and cross via US-2 (Marias Pass). The park’s historic Red Bus tours over the pass (seasonal, roughly July to September) can be booked separately. The Carway/Piegan border crossing is open year-round.
- Yellowstone: most park roads are open from mid/late April to the end of October and close to regular vehicles in winter. Best travel June to September.
